Buy OMH

"Buy OMH" is a statewide job training and employment initiative which was developed in 1987 by the New York State Office of Mental Health to meet the work readiness and job needs of New Yorkers with a psychiatric disability.

"Buy OMH" has been recognized as a vital component of the rehabilitation and recovery process for many New Yorkers experiencing psychiatric difficulties. It has also been praised for the high quality of its products and services, which underscores the values and capacities which recipients of mental health services can bring to the workforce. "Buy OMH" consists of a network of state operated rehabilitation programs from throughout the state with over 8 participating facilities.
