Nurse 1

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

To qualify for this position you MUST meet ONE of the following requirements:

• be licensed and currently registered* to practice nursing in New York State

  OR

• possess a limited permit to practice nursing in New York State. (You must obtain your New York State license within ONE YEAR of the date of appointment or action will be taken to remove you from the position.)

DUTIES

As a Nurse 1 you would provide professional nursing services appropriate to individuals diagnosed with mental illness. You would serve as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team. You would provide nursing interventions consistent with the nursing process and supportive of the overall treatment plan.

NOTES

Employees must maintain a valid New York State license to practice nursing.
