Uploading your completed CFR submission
Browser Requirements for Uploading:
- In order to upload CFRS submission files, your browser must be Internet Explorer version 5.0 or later, or Netscape Navigator version 6.0 or later. 128-bit encryption is required to upload CFRS submissions. (Other browsers, such as Firefox and Opera, may work as long as they are compatible.)
- Test your browser for 128-bit encryption.
If you cannot retrieve the page (your browser does not support 128-bit encryption) you will need to enable 128-bit encryption, or upgrade/install a compatible browser.
Please review the CFR Validation, Prepare for Upload, and Upload Instructions, for a complete description of the upload process and requirements.
In order to successfully upload your file, the below items must have been addressed or completed:
- You need to have a valid Provider Agency Code.
- All validations must be passed and a DCN must be assigned.
- Remember to Backup your data, especially after you have completed your validations and have had a DCN assigned.
- The Validation and Prepare for Upload processes must have been completed, before you can Upload your submission. Be sure to note the exact name and location of the newly created upload file, as you will need to Browse to it during the upload process. The filename will include your Provider Code, the submission type, the State Agency, your CFR software version, and the file creation date and time, followed by .mdb.cfr For example, for Version 8.0:
- 99999-Full-MULTI-[8]-2006C-52967352-20070112175631.mdb.cfr
- C:\Program Files\Consolidated Fiscal Reporting System\CFRS 8.0\DB\Upload
