Driving Directions
Manhattan Psychiatric Center is only accessible from the Triboro Bridge.
From Major Deegan south to Triboro Bridge; bear right. Exit right for Manhattan/Ward's Island/Randall's Island. Take ramp all the way at the right of the toll plaza, to Randall's and Ward's Islands.
Stay on road as it passes under the elevated roadway of the Triboro Bridge. As you pass Downing Stadium on your right, bear right to continue going south. Make the first right turn, crossing under the Triboro again. Proceed through facility gate, past the front of the Meyer Building. Park wherever there is available space.
From Saw Mill Parkway south, exit left for Mosholu Parkway south to Major Deegan. Proceed as above From Major Deegan.
From Long Island, take BQE or Grand Central to Triboro Bridge.Proceed as above From Major Deegan.
From Manhattan, take Triboro Bridge (125th St east of 1st Avenue) and bear left. Take ramp at far left for Randall's/Ward's Islands. Stay on road as it passes under the elevated roadway of the Triboro Bridge. As you pass Downing Stadium on your right, bear right to continue going south. Make the first right turn, crossing under the Triboro again. Proceed through facility gate, past the front of the Meyer Building. Park wherever there is available space.
Public Transportation
By public transportation, from NW corner of 125th St. and Lexington Avenue, take the M35 Bus to Ward's Island, exit at the Bus Stop at the main entrance to the Manhattan Psychiatric Center Campus.
