Overview
Since its inception in 1996, the Home and Community Based Services Waiver Program has undergone a number of expansions, both geographically as well as in the number of available slots. Additional increases in slot allocations are planned. This program is currently operative in all counties in New York State with the exception of Oneida County which has a separate demonstration project entitled "Kids Oneida".
